Improved technology has given us
shampoos that are more hair specific than ever. Your choice of shampoo should be based on the condition of your scalp and your
hair type.
HOWEVER, ASIAN HAIR NEEDS SPECIAL CARE.Dry Hair, which represents the major part of the urban Asian population, needs a delicate cleansing action with more conditioning.
Dull Hair, usually arising out of dryness, is hair sporting broken strands and therefore an uneven alignment. This type of hair has to be lubricated more often with deep conditioning treatments. Once taken care of, the alignment becomes even and the hair appears glossy.
Hair with split ends is another typically Asian problem, since Asian women like to wear their hair long, so the tip of each strand, which is probably years, sometimes decades old, splits on combing. Split ends can only be cured by trimming the hair.
Thinning Hair, Asian women experience a higher incidence of hair thinning due to changes in diet, urban lifestyles and weather.
Shampooing is a major part of hair care and more often than not is done incorrectly or in a hurry.
RULE 1
Find out how often is right for you. Shampooing needs to be done as often as required to keep the hair clean and healthy. This varies from every day for some individuals to once a week for others.
RULE 2
Before wetting the hair for a shampoo, comb through with a wide toothed comb to prevent tangles. Start from midway down the hair shaft, then comb from the scalp down to the mid-point to avoid breakage.
RULE 3
Shampoo gently. Hair swells on contact with water and is more fragile when wet.
Sunora Deep Shine Shampoo has been specially formulated for all types of Asian Hair from Dark Brown to Natural Jet Black.SHAMPOOING
There is a right way and a wrong way to wash long hair. When your hair is wet it is at its most vulnerable. Rough treatment can cause breakages and tangles, so be careful.
Before washing your hair, gently comb long hair with a wide toothed comb to remove tangles.Always wash your hair under a flow of water, preferably standing under a shower or hanging your head over the edge of the bath.
When you add the shampoo,
work it into a lather by gently massaging your hair and scalp.
Avoid digging your fingers into the hair and scalp and clawing away at your hair, it could get tangled.
Gently work the lather into your hair length. Don't rub the hair, instead draw the shampoo through to the ends. This avoids disrupting the cuticles too much.
Finally, rinse the shampoo off thoroughly, keeping the flow constant through the hair as it hangs down. A final rinse withh cool water closes the cuticles and gives shine to the hair.
Gently blot wet hair with a towel -
DON'T RUB and allow the hair to dry
